USDT Not Received in Trust Wallet (Fix Guide)

Sent USDT but balance not showing in Trust Wallet?
Don’t panic — in most cases the funds are not lost. The issue is usually network mismatch, token visibility, or confirmation delay.

Follow the steps below in order.

Step 1 — Check Transaction Status on Blockchain

Open your exchange withdrawal history and copy the TxID / Transaction Hash.

Then open a blockchain explorer:

BSC → bscscan.com
Ethereum → etherscan.io
Polygon → polygonscan.com
Tron → tronscan.org

Paste the TxID.

If status shows Success → funds reached the wallet address.
That means the problem is display, not loss.

Step 2 — Most Common Problem: Wrong Network

USDT exists on multiple networks:

ERC20 (Ethereum)
TRC20 (Tron)
BEP20 (BSC)
Polygon

If you sent BEP20 but wallet shows ERC20 → balance stays zero.

Fix

Enable the correct network token in Trust Wallet:

Settings → Manage Tokens → search USDT → enable correct network

Balance usually appears instantly.

Step 3 — Add Custom Token (Important)

Sometimes Trust Wallet doesn’t auto-detect.

Tap Add Custom Token and paste contract address from explorer.

After adding, refresh wallet — funds show.

Step 4 — Check Confirmation Delay

Some exchanges mark withdrawal completed before confirmations finish.

Typical confirmation time:

TRC20 → 1–3 min
BEP20 → 1–5 min
ERC20 → 2–15 min (can be longer)

Wait before assuming loss.

Step 5 — Sent to Wrong Network Address?

Example:
Sent ERC20 to BEP20 address

Funds are recoverable if you control the private key.

You must import wallet into a multi-chain wallet and access the correct network.

(Do NOT send again — that makes recovery harder)

Are the Funds Lost?

If TxID = success and address correct → funds exist on blockchain.

Wallet apps only display them — they never store them.

So almost always recoverable.
